Apologies for the late post -.- I was supposed to blog the trip of Gold Coast Day 2 yesterday.
Was just too busy :D Heh, anyway. The second day was Sea World.
If you interpret it correctly, you should be able to know its about marine animals huh, abit of common sense here ._.
Though its known for having animals living in there, Sea World did have rides too !
So i would say 70% animals, 30% theme park :D
First up, went into Sea World and saw these pretty huge pelicans.
One thing that amazes me was, there were no like cage to prevent them from flying out lah !
So its like they can fly freely whenever they want. But it didnt -.- All of the pelicans all stood by their positions and "wave"
There was this big bird show, for the kiddies (like duh -.-) But didnt catch it, we headed to the souvenir shop first :P
The upper level kinda looks like our china town houses right ? So olden times
Went to the Stingray department. We could actually touch it leh ! Except for the head and the tail :P Or else you would get stung.
One of the tourists trying to touch the fins when it swam pass
Following point : Polar Bear
Didnt really have the time to snap the polar bear as time was running out ! We had to catch the Seal detective show.
Look at the crowd -.-
The place where the show was going to take place. Seems kind of big eh ? Still got slide !
The actors had to like feed the seal every like 1 minute or something -.- So unprofessional one meh ?!
Or maybe is NO FOOD = NO ACTING FOR SEALS ? Who knows o.o
So happy i managed to get one nice shot of the seal flapping its hands.
The show ended, and went to the polar bear again.
The cage was super big, but they only had 1 freaking polar bear inside -.- Seriously man, they need such a big space meh ?
Add 2-3 more inside lah, so lonely D:
If your eyes dont play tricks with you, it should read " Shark Bay "
Not a really good sight from above, had to go down to view the fishes
Reached the tank. All the fishes like super small can -.- Including the sharks !
Erm, i forget whats this section called -.- Pardon me for that heh.
We could touch the starfish. But cannot pluck it out from its position :/
Another show ! The dolphins.
I love their water lah, its super clean and clear. You can like practically see everything.
Not like singapore one -.- Still got litter etc.
Camera failed me @.@ Tried to take a nice shot of the dolphins "flying up" but to no avail D:
Lunch was next. We always had to order 2 plates for 4 people lah -.- Because the amount of food the Australians serve are humongous ! Thats why they so tall and big :P
Nope, i dont do such kiddy things =P
After lunch, it was free time ( we were in a tour, not free and easy )
It was the bermuda triangle ride !
It was dark, and camera so pro lah :D Can capture such nice shots. Got flash one okay :P
They had like aliens and star wars characters inside. It wasnt that menacing nor threatening.
Just that the sound effects were rather loud.
This one was rather funny -.- The nose super long can ! Like some kind of ant eater
We made it out alive ~ Obviously -.- The slide we took was the one on the right. The left was something like the " Wet 'n' Wild " in WWW.
The last show for the evening - Pirates Unleashed !
It wasnt officially on air yet. They were practicing, and they wanted our comments, so they asked alot of people to go and watch
This canon could only make the " bomb " sound effect and make gas come out -.- No capsules or something
Requested for my mom's friend to take a family photo for us. His photography skill suck ttm okay -.- Look at the below pictures.
We left the place at 4.30pm and back to the hotel.
Last point before dinner was the beach ! By hook or crook, die die also must go the beach lah.
The sand was muthaf***ing fantastic, super duper soft ! Like no kidding man, compared to Sentosa beach, surfer's paradise sand is much more fab.
My sister took this one. Looks kind of plain somehow.
And so this pretty much sums up our day 2 post !
Not forgetting to mention, i bought one formal checkered shirt from cotton on ! Another shirt from Harbour Town, and one pair of shoes :D
